Currently Coveting – Springtime Swag

The Cherry Blossoms are peaking this week in DC inspiring tourists and locals by the hundreds of thousands to trek down to the tidal basin to soak in their beauty. I’m blessed enough to have been able to take a quick run down there with my roommate Jamie yesterday to take in the sights.

For those of you who don’t have the luxury of taking in this sight I’ve posted some of my own amateur photos for you that hopefully do it justice (if not, I’m sure a quick Google search could get you some higher quality pics).

Cherry Blossom in Bloom

In any case, these blooms are inspiring me to add a touch of the outdoors to my door – with a great spring wreath. Here are 3 that caught my eye –

Amethyst Magnolia Wreath Magnolia Company

From The Magnolia Company, this Amethyst Magnolia Wreath really pops. Not the usual springtime colors but I like the drama it adds to your door.  It’s a bit of a splurge with the largest size coming in over $300.

Country Prim on Etsy Tulip Wreath

Splurge Worthy

For just about $40 (plus shipping) you can pick up this wreath that screams spring. This wreath made of a multitude of yellow tulips pack a punch and it’s hand crafted from Country Prim on Etsy.

DIY moss covered monograms from Style Me Pretty

Style Steal

Use your imagination –  this isn’t actually a wreath, but instead DIY moss covered monograms from Style Me Pretty which, with the addition of a beautiful ribbon at the top could be hung to add a cool vibe to your door that is totally not your grandma’s wreath.  Really stylish and definitely a steal.

Happy Spring Weekend!
